Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen owns Razzies

Being one of the worst movies last year, despite the money involved in making it, even the money that made from the fans, I'm not surprised that Michael Bay's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has got even three Razzies.

Worst picture, worst director (Michael Bay) and worst screenplay (Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci & Ehren Kruger).

Deserved.

10 most anticipated movies, games and TV shows in 2010

This year we can expect some great movies, shows, games and events that already got people's attention towards them.

1. Lost final season
- The premiere is set on February 2nd. One of the best shows of all time is coming to it's end. I know I'll miss it.

2. Iron Man 2
- The sequel of Marvel's best movie adaptation so far comes out in May 2010. Check out the trailer.

3. Star Wars: The Old Republic
- What has more fans? Star Wars or World of Warcraft? No, really, it's a stupid to compare, but how many of you will rather play Star Wars MMOPRG? I'm a World of Warcraft player for years now, and I know I'll be switching to Star Wars: The Old Republic. Check out the new Alderaan footage here.

4. Star Trek Online
- Another MMORPG, this time set in the Star Trek universe. The game was delayed for years and I really hope that will come out finally.

5. Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland
- This one comes out in two months and I'm very excited. I love almost every Tim Burton movie and can't wait to finally see this. There's one world where every Burton's movie takes place. That world has many Johnny Depp clones.

6. God of War 3
- PS3 players will soon enjoy in the new God of War game. The first two are considered to be the one of the best games for PS2. I'm sure God of War 3 will continue the tradition of good gaming.

7. Family Guy: We Have A Bad Feeling About This
- The current season will end with the third Family Guy Star Wars parody. This time they're doing Return of the Jedi.
8. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
- Yeah, they separated them to get more money, hehe. The first part of the final Harry Potter adventure will premiere in November.

9. Final Fantasy XIII
- Another PS3 gem for the players and probably the best RPG for 2010, if not the best RPG ever. We'll just relax and wait to come out.

10. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
- A sequel to the best Star Wars game, comes out at the end of this year. There's only a teaser trailer so far and almost no other info. I'll keep an eye of every single piece of info, that's for sure.

Visual Effects Oscar List

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ visual effects branch announced a list of seven films on the short list for the Visual Effects Oscar.

The Hobbit starts shooting in June

Finally, Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of Tolkien's classic The Hobbit, starts shooting this June in New Zealand. New Zealand seems like a perfect place for shooting a movie based on a Tolkien's book. We all know how great is the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The production of the two films will take 18 months to finish. The first movie will be released in 2011, and the second, one year after.

Peter Jackson stepped out the director's role in early phase of production, handling the command to Guillermo del Toro.
The main reasoning appears to be timetable conflicts with other directing commitments Jackson already have.

No actor has been cast as Bilbo Baggins so far.

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Alderaan Holonet Video

A great video from the upcoming Star Wars MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic that shows the famous planet Alderaan.

The story of the games takes place in the Star Wars fictional universe shortly after the establishment of a tenuous peace between the re-emergent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic,300 years after the events of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games and more than 3,500 years before the events in the Star Wars films. Star Wars: The Old Republic should represent a new approach to online entertainment, featuring immersive storytelling, dynamic combat, and groundbreaking companion characters.

The game is a collaboration between BioWare and Lucasarts. We're still waiting for a release date. Check out the video:

Marvel Siege, the conclusion of Dark Reign

Siege is the Marvel comics storyline that begins in January 2010. Siege deals with the aftermath of the Dark Reign, which led to a shift of power in the Marvel Universe toward Norman Osborn.

Norman Osborn calls a meeting of the Cabal (Doctor Doom, The Hood, and Loki) to discuss Asgard, the last hold out in Osborn's consolidation of power. Namor and Emma Frost are absent due to their betrayal during the events of Utopia, and are replaced with Taskmaster. During the meeting Doom expresses his displeasure with Norman's actions against his ally Namor. Doom accuses Osborn of attempting to kill off members of the group that are not obedient to him, and orders Osborn to bring forth Namor. Upon refusal to do so Osborn has Doom attacked by an unknown assailant. After the attack Osborn examines the body to see that it is not Doom, but a small swarm of robotic insects inside a Doombot. The insects attack the Cabal and under the suggestion of Loki the Hood flees. Avengers Tower is ordered to be evacuated, with only Osborn staying to attempt to fight off the swarm. When his shields (as the Iron Patriot) are about to fail, Sentry comes in to destroy them.

Osborn is later seen talking with the President of the United States to try to secure permissions to invade Asgard under the claim it poses a national security threat. The President does not feel the threat is serious enough to warrant an invasion and orders Osborn to stand down. Loki, listening to the conversation, reminds Osborn of the superhuman Civil War, explaining that it all started with a tragedy in Stamford, Connecticut and that a similar tragedy could be used to gain approval for an assault.
